SFS project next steps
In order to build on the momentum of the consultation and start preparing the mobilization phase, two meetings will take place at the end of January, one with WP Leaders and Task Leaders involved for the consultation analysis (28th January) and another one with the Area Leaders of the SFS project and some partners (29th January).

These two meetings aim at starting the preparation of the mobilization phase (WP3 preparation and WP4 mobilization) of the project.

 

WP 1-6 Leaders meeting

Aim: To discuss and fine-tune the process from the consultation phase to the mobilization phase

Participants: WP Leaders and Task Leaders for the consultation analysis (Nausicaá, AquaTT, ECSITE, EBN, IUCN, EurOcean and NUI Galway)

Date: 28 January 2014

Hour: 5 to 7 pm (CET)

Place: EBN Office, Brussels (Avenue de Tervueren, 168 -B-1150 Brussels; Phone: +32 2 77289 00 - Fax: +32 2 772 95 74). 

Agenda:

All WP and task leader Nui Galway will join or skype to share information on the ongoing consultation analysis and on the current reflection of the Blue Society Expert Group. They will review the timeline from consultation to mobilization and finalize the preparation of the meeting with Area leaders.

 

Area Leaders meeting

Aim: To build on the momentum of the consultation and start preparing the mobilization phase

Participants: All area Leaders of the consultation except Greece: Nausicaá (France), IOPAN (Poland), UGOT (Sweden), IMR (Norway), AquaTT (Ireland), IEO (Spain), MC2 (Spain), Ciência Viva (Portugal), ADG (Italy) and EBN, Ecsite, IUCN.

Date: 29 January 2014 (preceded by Dinner on 28 January 2014 from 7:45 at Le Coach (Boulevard Saint Michel, 20 - 1150 Brussels))

Hour: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (CET)

Agenda:

The Area leaders will meet, on January 29th, in Brussels with the general objective: to build on the momentum of the consultation and start preparing the mobilization phase.

 

They will:

- Share information on the ongoing analysis of the the consultation results and

- Get feedback on the current reflections of the Blue Society Expert Group

- Identify the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) of the partners for mobilization in the Sea for Society countries

- Identify first ideas for potential mobilization activities and to create synergies between the activities of Sea for Society partners

- Start reflecting on first ideas for external communication for the mobilization.
