The Sea For Society (SFS) project was present at the “A Green Economy in a Blue World” Conference, organised by the Assistência Médica Internacional (AMI) and the United Nations (UN) Global Compact Network Portugal (GCNP), which took place in Lisbon, Portugal, on September 26th. The Conference speakers included stakeholders and experts from different marine fields.
Ciência Viva, SFS partner and Area Leader for Portugal, was a Conference institutional partner. Ciência Viva was present at the event and disseminated the SFS project, following the project objective of involving the stakeholders from the private sector, Civil Society Organisations (CSO’s), Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO’s), policy makers, and the wider public in the Blue Society vision. The SFS project brochure was widely distributed to the Conference participants.
