Irish teachers took to the seashore during an SFS mobilization action!
Irish Marine Institute: Explorers Teacher Training Program, 1-5 July 2015

Education met entertainment earlier this month as the 2015 edition of the Marine Institute's teacher training program got underway, in collaboration with Galway Atlantaquaria

Twenty-five local national primary school teachers from Galway took part in the event, increasing their Ocean knowledge and their awareness of the Ocean's impact on our daily lives.

"Through lesson plans and activities we aim to help teachers integrate marine themes as closely as possible with subjects on the primary school curriculum including science, geography, history, as well as English, maths and art," explained Cushla Dromgool-Regan of the Marine Institute.
